Ion Perez, also known as Kuya Escort in It’s Showtime’s “Miss Q and A” segment, denies he is using Vice Ganda to be famous. “Nagkakamali sila kasi sobrang bait na tao ni Vice.”

Ion Perez—or “Kuya Escort” on It’s Showtime—denied that he was using Vice Ganda to gain fame.

Ion first became known when he won the international pageant Mr. Universe Tourism 2018 in May.

But he became even more famous when he became an escort in “Miss Q and A,” the gay pageant on the ABS-CBN noontime show.

In the said segment, there were often skits between Vice and Ion about love.

The friendship between the two blossomed.

Vice’s posts on social media show that Ion is also seen accompanying the comedian-TV host and his group on other occasions.

But the two could not escape intrigue, such as the alleged relationship between them and Ion’s alleged use of Vice to gain fame.

Ion clarified this in his interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda last week.

He said, “Maybe they are mistaken because Vice is such a kind person, so kind that I didn’t expect to get close to him.

“He also likes my humor.

“Maybe that’s what I can say that he liked—my humor, my being silly sometimes, that’s why I got close to him.”

ON INDECENT PROPOSALS
The model also confirmed that she receives indecent proposals, but she says she rejects them.

“I always say, ‘I’m not that kind of person. If I could offer you anything, it would be friendship. But other than that, nothing.’

“That’s what I always say to those who offer me indecent proposals.”

Boy Abunda also asked Ion about the intrigue that he allegedly uses his body to achieve his dreams.

Ion replied, “Maybe it’s other people because, as they say, the tree [when] it bears fruit [is stoned].

“I can’t blame them either because, well, I need to prove to myself that I can stand up for myself in my own way.
