Singer Ice Seguerra Speaks on Cases Filed by Liza Diño Against PEP
ICE SEGUERRA – The singer spoke on the articles published against his wife, Liza Diño, which urged her to file a complaint against Pep.
Last month, former Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) chairperson Liza Diño filed a case against PEP and the personalities who are allegedly involved in the publishing of articles that damaged her reputation.

Liza Diño filed four (4) complaints at the Office of the Prosecutor of Quezon City. She was accompanied by her legal counsels and her husband, Ice Seguerra. According to the former FDCP chairperson, she thought about taking a move for almost a year and initially decided to just remain silent.

According to Liza, she knows that she is in the entertainment industry and making a move may earned her comments. But, she came to the question about allowing the “false narrative to be the truth”.
Liza Diño expressed that her move is in the pursuit of reclaiming her name and reputation and she is relieved in knowing that she stood up for herself regardless of the result of the case.

PEP previously released an official statement saying that they have yet to receive a complaint from the Office of the Prosecutor of Quezon City. Recently, an emotional Liza Diño spoke a message for the respondents of the case.
“Why? What did I do? Sobrang mahal ko itong industry na ito. Anong ginawa ko to deserve this? To deserve that kind of maligning of my reputation, my person, everything that I have given,” the former FDCP chairperson said after knowing that the respondents has allegedly maligned her character “78 counts in different articles”.
Ice Seguerra also spoke on the pursuit of his wife of reclaiming her reputation. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the singer stressed that the articles did not contain the truth and it is through the complaint that they wanted to express their side of the story.
“It’s not even the truth. It’s a narrative that is available out there, that’s the only narrative eh,” the singer expressed.
According to Liza Diño, she is not mandating appreciation for her work but just respect for the fare share of sacrifice, hard work, and love that she has shown the entertainment industry during her stint in FDCP.
