The couple hosted the Team DongYan Christmas party and anniversary celebration at Poblacion, Makati City. The viral clip in question came from an old performance of Marian singing Rihanna’s hit song. It happened during the farewell event for the 2013 Kapuso show Temptation of Wife, where Marian starred as the lead actress. She candidly explained what happened behind the scenes.
“Tawang-tawa kasi ako doon. Galing ako ng taping noon, sobrang puyat ako nun. Sabi ko, ‘Hindi ko alam itong kantang ‘to, bahala na ‘to,’” she recalled. “Tuwing nakikita ko ‘yun, natatawa ako sa sarili ko.”
Marian further lightened the mood by saying that her daughter, Zia, has since made up for it. Zia, who has trended online for her singing and dancing skills, seems to have inherited her mother’s charm and talent.
