Jake Cuenca humorously commented on his best friend Paulo Avelino’s rumored romance with Kim Chiu.
The trio formerly starred together in the now-debunked Filipino adaptation of “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?,” and have a close bond with each other.
When queried about the real score between Kim and Paulo, Jake joked about having no idea of the two’s relationship.
“My friend is gonna disown me… I don’t know honestly,” Jake said in jest in an interview with ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe.
The actor further claimed that the two are compatible with each other.
“Being a friend of the two, I can only say na, at least during ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ (filming) I can see that they are very good for one another.”
Jake refrained from going into detail but is certain that “he (Paulo) lights up when Kim is around.”
Fans have been buzzing about the possible romance of Kim and Paulo, collectively known as “KimPau,” following their pairing in the series “Linlang,” and “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.”
Dating speculations arose when the two were spotted posting individual photos with similar backgrounds in the United States a few months back.
