The week has been an eventful one for Anne Curtis as she gets involved in another ~*unexpected*~ situation. This time, it was with a netizen who had some unsolicited “advice” on her Instagram feed. And it appears that Anne had mastered the classiest way of responding to unwanted comments.

On January 22, 2024, the A-lister actress posted a heartfelt greeting for their longtime personal assistant, Mary Ann, or as Dahlia calls her, Tita Me.

“To our dearest @meanontay, happy happy birthday. We are so blessed to have you as part of our family. We love you so much Dahlia’s Tita Me! Happy happy birthday!” Anne wrote.

However, what was supposed to be a wholesome and genuine post became another space for some netizens to make inappropriate comments. The netizen expressed her thoughts over Anne posting a photo of Mary Ann, saying that it does not aesthetically fit in her feed.

Phrasing her comment as a suggestion for Anne to consider, the netizen asserted, “suggest ko lang you can post it nalang sa story ‘yung birthday greetings instead IG post, since hindi po bagay sa IG feed niyo po.”

In the calmest way possible, Anne emphasized that Mary Ann is a part of their family so she belongs in her Instagram feed. Anne explained, “She’s a family member so bagay talaga siya sa feed ko. Plus hindi naman curated feed ko. So walang ganyan ganyan. But thank you sa suggestion.” She ended her response with a *kiss emoji* too!

This is not the first time that Anne made the ~kindest~ response to an unsolicited and borderline-rude comment from a netizen. In October 2023, the actress also went viral for making a chill clap back to someone from the Internet who called out her *huge lips* or “bunganga.” “Kulang na lang ipa surgeon mo yang bunganga,” the netizen wrote in all caps.

In the most laid-back reply, Anne described her “bunganga” as a blessing. “Hindi ko kailangan ng surgeon or any doctor dahil I was born and blessed with these lips or bunganga as you say,” the actress remarked. She also included *kiss emoji* at the end of her statement.

Earlier this week, Anne was also involved in another viral moment during the noontime show, It’s Showtime. What was supposed to be a funny and humorous moment between her and co-host Vice Ganda became an uncomfortable and lapse-of-judgment instance for both of them.

To be funny, Vice had asked Anne to say “nice ganda” on-air, a tagline from Vice’s advertisement for McDonald’s. Anne was too late to realize that the line conflicted with her endorsement, Jollibee, a competitor of the fast food chain.

On January 22, Anne issued a statement via X (formerly Twitter). She clarified that it was a mistake for both of them, and they are doing fine. Vice was also apologetic on social media for what seemed to be a careless mistake by her.

“Morning everyone. Guys, kalma. No need for such negative energy. Vice and I are fine. It was a lapse of judgment on both sides. At least we can move forward and be keyrfuul. Ganyan ang biriun backstage but syempre dapat iba pag on air. Kaya kalma. It’s a beautiful day. Gawin na lang #BidaAngSaya every day! HAHAHAHA!” said Anne.
