Only Anne Curtis can do this on stage

Actress-host Anne Curtis is the only “sintunado” that can still be so entertaining for the Filipino audience.

Anne is known for being a versatile actress but she has been very vocal about her love for singing. During her hosting stints on the Kapamilya noontime showtime, It’s Showtime, it is known to avid viewers that she would always sing as much as she could if the circumstances allowed her to.

The actress-host also held several concerts to showcase her singing voice and this would always get positive feedback from the audience.

Just recently, Anne Curtis was one of the performers for ASAP Natin ‘To show in California. A video clip of her performance went viral. She performed the song I Wanna Dance With Somebody which was popularized by the legendary diva Whitney Houston.

Anne was enjoying her performance and it was reciprocated by the audience. It can be seen in the clip that the crowd was cheering for her.

The Kapamilya celebrity even boasted that she would get the song to a higher note and the crowd loved that.

On X, formerly Twitter, netizens expressed that they will only Anne to be out of tune during song performances. “Ang sintonadong mahal na mahal nating mga Pinoy!” a netizen stressed.

 

Another netizen said that if other singers or celebrities would do this, bashing would be the next thing but it’s different when it comes to Anne.

A netizen also pointed out that Anne is the embodiment of Pinoy karaoke in which everyone is just enjoying and people enjoy the celebrity’s performance.

Meanwhile, Anne Curtis received a wonderful comment from the one and only Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez when it comes to the improvement in her singing.

In an episode of Magandang Buhay, Regine said that people laughed at Anne’s candidness when she sang because she could not hit the right notes at times. However, the OPM icon said that Anne is now “nasa tono na.”
