Gigi De Lana Sparkles in Her ‘It’s Showtime’ Comeback & Prepares for US Tour

GIGI DE LANA – Singer Gigi De Lana sparkles in her highly anticipated It’s Showtime comeback, leaving fans excited as she prepares for her upcoming US tour with The Gigi Vibes.

Gigi De Lana made an exciting return to It’s Showtime on January 28, participating in the popular segment “Hide and Sing.” She was joined by two other mystery singers, while OPM icons Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez tried to guess the identity of the surprise performers.

Gigi’s return brought back fond memories, and after the big reveal, she wowed the audience with her performance of “Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita,” the very same song that catapulted her to viral fame in 2021.

Martin Nievera commended Gigi for cleverly using her low voice to keep her identity a secret during the guessing portion, impressing both the hosts and viewers alike. Gigi, visibly happy to be back, shared her excitement on social media, saying, “It’s nice to be back, namiss ko kayo Madlang People.”

She also expressed her heartfelt thanks in a video message to the It’s Showtime hosts, the ABS-CBN and GMA production teams, and her dedicated fans, known as the “Giginatics.”

During the segment, Gigi playfully asked her fans if they were able to guess her identity early on, referring to her performances of “We Found Love” and “Second Roses.” It was a fun moment that highlighted the connection she shares with her loyal fanbase.

Gigi took a break from performing after the loss of her mother, who had been battling stage 4 breast cancer for six years. In 2024, Gigi shared her grief on Instagram, revealing the deep bond she had with her mom, and expressing the pain of losing her close confidante.

However, Gigi’s music career is back on track as she and her band, The Gigi Vibes, are set to embark on their RATED GIGI 2.0 tour across various U.S. states, including San Francisco, Anchorage, Guam, and New Orleans. Her fans are eager to see her take the stage once again, as she continues to rise in the music scene.
