Eat Bulaga hosts shared their thoughts on GTV’s new noontime show
The host of Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga have these reactions to Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime‘s partnership with GTV, the network also owned by GMA.
Starting July 1, the noontime show led by Vice Ganda will also air on GTV aside from the digital platforms affiliated with the Kapamilya network. This collaboration between the Kapamilya show and the Kapuso-owned network happened after TV5 decided to give its noontime slot to the new show of TVJ who left TAPE Inc, which is behind the Kapuso noontime show.
With the partnership between It’s Showtime and GTV, EB hosts were asked to share their thoughts on this in the recent Kapuso Showbiz News interview.
Paolo Contis said that this is going to be exciting. He stressed that the viewers are the winner in this situation. The actor added that ABS-CBN and GMA started the collaboration and this one is huge because it is a noontime show and it opens a lot of opportunities for many people in the industry.
For Buboy Villar, there is no issue with this. He is happy that a lot of people continue to have their jobs, especially those who are behind the camera.
When Cassy Legaspi was asked about this, she flashed a “kilig” smile because she said she is friends with one of It’s Showtime’s regulars. Apparently, she was talking about Darren Espanto who has been linked to her for quite a while now.

“I’m excited because we’re gonna be one big happy family,” she said giggling and jokingly added that she will be able to see him more often now.
Mavy Legaspi is also happy about this because he is close to Meme or Vice Ganda. He recalled that when his mom Carmina Villarroel was a guest host on Showtime, he would go with her. Through this, Mavy was able to establish a bond with people in the Kapamilya show.
Betong Sumaya welcomed the Kapamilya noontime show to the Kapuso station. “Sobrang happy kasi nagsanib-pwersa na,” the Eat Bulaga host said.
