MANILA — For the first time since they were rumored to be in a relationship, Vice Ganda on Wednesday finally posted a photo of him with Ion Perez in an apparent hint of their real-life ties.
“Everybody deserves to love and be happy. Everybody includes YOU and ME,” the comedy superstar captioned the snap.
Vice Ganda’s post came days after he and Perez made headlines when a playful exchange of “I love you’s” during a live episode of “It’s Showtime” unfolded to be an emotional moment for the rumored couple.
“Ang saya ‘pag nakikita siyang masaya,” Perez said at the time, when asked by host Vhong Navarro what caused his tears. “Ang sarap makita na masaya ‘yung taong mahal mo.”
In a tweet on Thursday, Vice Ganda appeared to address the positive response to his Instagram post about Perez.
Thanks everyone for the love and support!!! Makakaasa kyong ibabalik ko po sa inyo ang pagmamahal na ibinibigay nyo. Pipilitin kong mapatawa at mapasaya kayo araw araw sa abot ng makakaya ko.
“Thanks everyone for the love and support! Makakaasa kayong ibabalik ko po sa inyo ang pagmamahal na ibinibigay nyo. Pipilitin kong mapatawa at mapasaya kayo araw-araw sa abot ng makakaya ko,” he wrote.
Although neither has confirmed being officially together, with Perez most recently stressing they are only friends, their fond behavior and shared personal milestones have only fueled specualtion of a serious relationship.
