Alex Jazz was born on August 16, 2008, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quezon City. His parents are Jennylyn Mercado and Patrick Garcia. The Kapuso star lovingly refers to her son as Jazzy.

Alex Jazz Mercado celebrated his 16th birthday on Friday, August 16. Dennis Trillo, who has taken on the role of a proud father figure, marked the occasion by posting a heartfelt message on social media.
The Pulang Araw actor shared a photo from a previous vacation in Boracay, where he was seen with his arm around Jazz’s shoulder, and wrote, “Happy Birthday Kuya Jazz! We [heart emoji] you!”

Jennylyn Mercado also celebrated her son’s milestone, posting a picture of Jazz in a hoodie with the caption: “No matter how old you get, you’ll always be my little prince… Happy 16th birthday, my Jazzy boy! Love you to the moon and back…”
Dennis and Jennylyn, who were married on November 15, 2021, in an intimate ceremony at Kathryn Bernardo’s studio in Quezon City, also have a younger child, Dylan Jayde, born on April 25, 2022. Additionally, Dennis has a son, Calix Andreas, from a previous relationship with Carlene Aguilar.
