Darryl Yap reacts to this video of EXpecially For You searcher

Director Darryl Yap slammed Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime because of the issue that surfaced in an episode of the EXpecially For You segment.

On June 4, Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda’s statement on the show elicited polarizing comments. He said that after the investigation and measures that their team did regarding the “nakaw na halik” issue, he decided to withdraw the apology that he was supposed to do.

The comedian-host stressed that searcher Christine felt discomfort after the incident and that it was just right for them to call out searchee Axel for what he did.

On the other hand, Vice asked the public to stop bashing Christine and Axel because of this issue. Prior to this, Axel explained that he tried to do the “BroCode” handshake while Christine said that she was not affected by what happened as she did not took that negatively.

After Vice’s statement on the Kapamilya noontime show, Christine’s video having a phone conversation with It’s Showtime staff surfaced online. The searcher was crying as she was pointing out that because of that statement, she was painted as a liar.

Direk Darryl Yap reposted the video that the brother of Christine’s ex-boyfriend shared on Facebook. The director slammed It’s Showtime.

“Grabe naman ito It’s Showtime. Sino yung kausap nung Christine? staff ba ng Showtime yan? Librarian o Cashier na hinihingan ng promisory note?” Direk Darryl said. He also said that the show is really hard in treating people.

The director also stressed that Christine was the guest and that whatever amount she received for her appearance on the show would not be enough for that kind of treatment she received.

Direk Darryl pointed out that it was Christine’s feelings, it was her body and emotions, so she knows it better. “Mas pinili nyo pang magmukhang tanga magpaliwanag kesa umamin sa pagkakamali nasobrahan kayo PRIDE month,” the director said.
