Darren Espanto, Kyline Alcantara teased together on ‘It’s Showtime:’ ‘Ang sarap sabihin na DarLine’

“It’s Showtime” hosts poked fun at Kyline Alcantara and Darren Espanto on Wednesday’s episode!

Following the Kapuso actress’ performance with singer Jeremy G of “Save Your Tears” by The Weeknd and Ariana Grande, Kyline interacted with the noontime show’s hosts.

Kasi nga…” she said before turning to face Darren.

“Ano?” Darren said with a laugh.

“Sabihin mo,” Kyline laughed.

Vice Ganda teased the two, “Sa susunod na kayo ni Darren kumanta, kanta daw kayo ‘We Are Family.’”

Jhong Hilario added, “Kyline? Darren? Parang ang sarap sabihin na DarLine.”

The Kapamilya singer and actor was previously linked to Cassy Legaspi, but on the premiere episode of “It’s Showtime” on GMA-7 last Saturday, Darren said he didn’t have a girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Kyline was linked to Cassy’s twin, Mavy.

Fellow Kapuso star Dasuri Choi was rumored to be the third party in the two’s alleged breakup, which she denied.

Kyline and Darren have been spotted spending time with the Legaspi family, and even went on a triple date with the twins’ parents, Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi.

“It’s Showtime” premiered on GMA-7 on April 6. The noontime show had an epic opening number which also served as Vice Ganda’s birthday prod, and had trending moments.

Its debut episode was a top-rater, earning a solid 6.8% rating on GMA Network’s main channel while registering a 9.7% from combined overnight data of channels GTV, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel and Jeepney TV. This is according to Nielsen Philippines NUTAM People Ratings.

“It’s Showtime” is also aired on GMA Network’s GTV.
