In an interview, the father of Daniel Padilla expressed this.

DANIEL PADILLA – The actor’s father, Rommel Padilla, expressed his hope for his son and his ex-gf Kathryn Bernardo to reconcile.

Last November 2023, the KathNiel split in real life has been confirmed. After over a decade of being together as a real-life couple and as a love team, two of the biggest stars of the industry broke up and it saddened a lot of people.

Kathryn Bernardo confirmed the split describing the whole relationship as chapter closed.

After their split, the two went on with their lives. Bernardo is currently being linked with Alden Richards while Padilla ventured into some businesses and one of them is a theme park called J Castles, he is one of the owners of this amusement park.

Months after the split, Rommel Padilla, the father of the actor, spoke about it and did not hesitate to share his hope for the former couple to reconcile one day. He is hopeful that one day, they will mend their broken relationship adding that hurdles are normal in a relationship.

“Talagang nangyayari ‘yan eh. Dumadating ‘yung puntong nagkakasubukan,” he said.

There will be challenging times but for him, he is hopeful for their reconciliation considering the amount of time they have spent as a couple. He added, “Kaya ipinagdarasal ko na sana manumbalik pa ang kanilang pagmamahalan.”

He furthered by sharing a piece of advise for the couple and that is to use their time being apart to reflect on their feelings and how to move forward from their past. He shared based on the video of his interview, “Dapat bang the same? Dapat ba tayong magkabalikan? I guess ito ‘yung time na ‘yun eh. Makikita nila sa mga darating na araw.”
