Kapuso singer Christian Bautista returns to ABS-CBN through It’s Showtime.
Former Kapamilya singer Christian Bautista was seen again on ABS-CBN after joining ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime.
To recall, it was in 2013 when “Asia’s Romantic Balladeer” Christian Bautista left ABS-CBN. He initially signed a three-year guaranteed contract with GMA network. And now, more than 10 years after his transfer, he was seen again in ABS-CBN.
He did not return as an artist but came back to appear as a guest of It’s Showtime segment “Hide & Sing”. In this segment, a celebrity “TagoHula” or the celebrity guest player should detective to guess and find out who the real celebrity singer is from the three completely covered-up singers or the “TagoKanta”.
“Hide and Sing” and “Sexy Babe” are two popular segments of the ABS-CBN noontime program “It’s Showtime” that made a comeback on Monday, January 20.
Hide and Sing debuted on “It’s Showtime” In September 2020 and this 2025, it returned with Bautista as its recent “TagoKanta” as of this writing. The celebrity guest players were Pepe Herrera and Jerald Napoles and luckily, they were able to make a right guess.
After Christian unmasked himself to show his face, he said, “Thank you so much for welcoming me back.”
Meanwhile, Asia’s Romantic Balladeer is married to non-showbiz personality Kat Bautista. In a previous article, Kat revealed why she fell in love with Christian instantly. According to her, they started out as friends and they got along really well.
The conversation between them came off naturally and this kind of connection was something that used to be hard to find for her. In their relationship now, they highlighted the importance of communicating well and how it is grounded in productive discussions rather than arguments.
