Carmina Villarroel revealed this about Julia Montes

Actress-host Carmina Villarroel mentioned Kapamilya actress Julia Montes after she revealed her experience with a “disrespectful” young female actress.

Carmina has spent most of her years in the entertainment industry as she started he career as an actress at a young age. It is safe to say that she already encountered a lot of different situation when it comes to show business and has already met a lot of people.

In a recent interview with PEP, Carmina revealed that there was a time when she felt disrespected by a younger artista. She shared that as they were taught during her younger years to respect other aritsts, especially those who are older or stayed longer in the industry, she expected that the younger generation of artists now would do the same.

“’Yung particular artista na ‘to, magkatabi na kami. Ni ha, ni ho, wala. As in walang hello. Parang, ‘Ano ‘yan? Bakit ganun?’ So, talagang sabi ko talaga, ‘I will never work with this artista,’” Carmina Villarroel shared what happened during an event.

However, the wife of Zoren Legaspi experienced a different thing with Julia Montes. Carmina said that the Kapamilya actress approached her and said “hi” even though at that time, they haven’t met yet.

“Kaya ko tuloy na-compare dati… kasi may isang artistang babae na di ko pa rin nakikilala, di ko pa rin nakakatrabaho. But [she] went up to me and said, ‘Hello.’ And she introduced herself. That’s why nakita ko pa yung comparison. ‘Tingnan mo ang batang ito. Ito lumapit,’” the actress-host revealed.

Carmina Villarroel added that even though Julia Montes was on the other side of the venue, the latter really stopped doing her make-up just to greet her.

The two female celebrities were able to work together in the defunct Kapamilya series Doble Kara and they became closer.
