Vice Ganda dedicating a song for boyfriend Ion Perez is the sweetest thing you’ll hear today!
Vice Ganda gives us the ultimate kilig as he gifts his partner Ion Perez with a heartfelt song titled “Mahal Ako Ng Mahal Ko” which was revealed in the comedian-host’s YouTube vlog “Happy TWOgether! Vice-Ion’s 2nd Anniversary Celebration!” that commemorated their relationship going far.
For Vice, the song was originally a poem inspired by his relationship with It’s Showtime’s resident Kuya Escort.
“Yung istorya natin, gusto kong i-immortalize. Hindi naman siya magiging pelikula pero gusto ko kasing ikwento ‘yung experience ko noong makilala kita hanggang ngayon. So ‘yung damdamin ko, naikwento ko siya sa isang tula.” he said to Ion.
Through the musical arrangements of Moira Dela Torre, Jason Marvin Hernandez, and Marvin Querido, the words were improved in the lyrical and musical side, resulting in a beautiful, mid-tempo ballad.
The song, for Vice, will serve as a testament to their beautiful love story. It was through the song wherein he was able to convey his gratitude for the love they shared.
