Marian Rivera opted to keep the details of her reconciliation with Heart Evangelista private, although she was elated that she and the actress-fashion icon are finally on good terms.

Rivera and Evangelista were snapped hugging and greeting each other during the 84th birthday party of GMA top honcho Felipe L. Gozon. Snippets of their interaction were posted by eventologist Tim Yap on his Instagram account.

When asked about her recent interaction with Evangelista on the sidelines of the Tiktok Creators Night last Dec. 10, Rivera chose to keep what they talked about just between them.

“Secret,” she told reporters while laughing. “Nag-catch up lang kami ng mga kwentuhan and happy ako na nagkita kami (We just caught up with each other and I’m happy that we met during that time). Finally!”

Meanwhile, in a separate event, the “Marimar” star pointed out that she doesn’t want to elaborate on her reconciliation with Evangelista but she is nonetheless happy that they’re okay.

“Well, tulad ng sinasabi ko, ayoko nang i-elaborate basta masaya ako na maayos kaming dalawa (Well, just like what I said, I don’t want to elaborate on the details. But I’m happy that we’re both on good terms),” she said.

During a 24 Oras interview last Nov. 29, Evangelista revealed that it was Rivera who initiated their reconciliation by reaching out to their mutual friends.

The Kapuso actresses made headlines after following each other on Instagram after their longstanding feud in 2011.
