James Reid makes ‘It’s Showtime’ return, reunites with Ryan Bang
MANILA — Actor and singer-songwriter James Reid opened the Kapamilya noontime show “It’s Showtime” on Saturday with his new single, “Sandal,” captivating the hearts of the madlang people.
After his performance, Reid had a little chat with the hosts of “It’s Showtime,” with the guest revealing that he and mainstay Ryan Bang are best friends.
“James Reid, best friend mo ba talaga si Ryan?” Kim Chiu asked Reid.
“Yes. Best friend,” Reid said.
“Sabay kami [sa] ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ batchmate kami 2010,” Ryan Bang explained.
Aside from the warm welcome of “It’s Showtime” hosts, Reid said he missed the warm energy of the madlang people.
“I’m so glad to perform my new songs here on ‘It’s Showtime’ I miss performing for the madlang people, I miss the energy, thank you so much,” he said.
With the warm energy of the madlang people, Reid also gave a sample of his hit song “Randomantic”.
