The noontime variety show ‘It’s Showtime’ will continue its successful run on GMA Network in 2025, confirming its commitment to bring joy and entertainment to viewers.
The news was officially announced by GMA Corporate Communications on Friday, December 20.
In a statement released to the media, GMA Network confirmed that ‘It’s Showtime’ will continue to air in its prime noontime slot for the upcoming year.
The announcement read:
“’It’s Showtime’ will continue to air in GMA in 2025! Maligayang Pasko, madlang Kapuso at Kapamilya.”
ABS-CBN also echoed the positive news through a separate statement on its social media channels, expressing their happiness over the ongoing partnership with GMA Network.
“ABS-CBN is happy to share the good news that ‘It’s Showtime’ will continue to air on the noontime slot of GMA from Monday to Saturday,” the network said.
They further expressed gratitude for the strong partnership with the Kapuso network, emphasizing their collective goal to inspire and bring happiness to viewers across the country.
“ABS-CBN and ‘It’s Showtime’ family are most grateful to GMA for their continued trust and support. We will continue to inspire and bring happiness to our audiences. Thank you, Kapuso, Kapamilya, and Madlang People,” the statement concluded.
The partnership between ‘It’s Showtime’ and GMA Network was solidified through a historic contract signing on March 20. The popular show made its debut on GMA Network on April 6, marking a significant milestone in Philippine television. Since then, the show has received warm support from viewers, featuring appearances from various Kapuso and Sparkle stars.
In October, ‘It’s Showtime’ also celebrated its 15th anniversary with a week-long ‘Magpasikat 2024’ event on GMA Network, where the team of Ogie Alcasid, Kim Chiu, MC, and Lassy took home the win.
