The team of Vice Ganda, Jugs Jugueta, and Teddy Corpuz brought the audience to tears when Teddy proposed and married his wife on national TV for their trending “Magpasikat Week” performance on “It’s Showtime.”

After the emotional song and reverse poetry offered by Jugs and Vice, Teddy surprised Jhazmine, their two children, and the audience when he suddenly got down on one knee and asked his wife “Will you marry me again?”

The surprise didn’t end there as Jasmine was suddenly dressed in a wedding gown and stood at the altar for their wedding, where Teddy declared his undying love for Jasmine.

Many were thrilled with Teddy, which is why the hashtag #MagpasikatJugsTeddyVice immediately became a trending topic on Twitter nationwide and worldwide, garnering thousands of views on “It’s Showtime” online.

The concept also received a standing ovation from the judges, including director Rory B. Quintos who called the entire performance “thematically brilliant.” It also brought tears and smiles to the eyes of Maricel Soriano, Marc Logan, Ina Raymundo, and Janno Gibs.
