Matapos ng ilang araw ng pananahimik ng kampo ni Marian Rivera, binasag ang katahimikan sa isyung Marian Rivera-Bela Padilla ng mismong kasintahan ni Marian, na si Dingdong Dantes.
Direktang sangkot si Dingdong sa iringan nina Marian at Bela dahil siya ang itinuturo ni Bela na dahilan ng lahat ng ito.
Magkakasama ang tatlo sa primetime series ng GMA-7 na Endless Love, kung saan gumaganap na magkasintahan sina Dingdong at Bela, bilang Johnny at Yumi, habang si Marian naman ay gumaganap bilang Jenny, ang nakagisnang kapatid ni Johnny, na siyang tunay niyang mahal.
Ayon kay Bela, na unang nagsalita sa media, sa set ng Endless Love naganap ang pang-aapi ni Marian sa kanya. Kasama raw dito ang “harassment” at “pagkukulong sa CR” ni Marian sa kanya.
Ayon sa starlet, ginawa raw ito sa kaniya ng pinakatanyag na star ng GMA-7, dahil sa “pagseselos” ng huli, gayo’t wala naman daw siyang balak agawin si Dingdong mula kay Marian
Bukod kay Bela, nagpa-interbyu na rin sa ibat-ibang media ang kanyang co-manager na si Claire dela Fuente at ang kanyang lola na si Mrs. Eva Cariño-Padilla.
Isinisisi ni Claire kay Marian ang depression diumano ngayon ni Bela, habang diretsang sinabihan naman ni Mrs. Cariño si Marian na mag-apologize ito sa apo niya.
May banta rin ang huli na “medyo mabigat ang magiging resulta” pag hindi humingi ng tawad ang GMA-7 star sa artistang baguhan.
At ngayon nga, sa unang pagkakataon, ay may maririnig na ang publiko mula naman sa kampo ni Marian, sa pamamagitan ng official statement na ipinadala ni Dingdong Dantes sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ngayong hapon, September 14.
Narito ang kabuuang pahayag ni Dingdong:
“I feel saddened by the accusations and false allegations hurled towards Marian which I feel are unfair and were totally blown out of proportion.
“I am saying this because I know the truth.
“Whatever happened in the past happened between two ADULTS, and I believe that this was already resolved.
“Now, all talks stemming from it are obviously hurting the status quo, which we were led to believe, was already smooth sailing.
“As someone who believes in Marian’s character and loves her dearly, wholeheartedly, without boundaries, in this life or in the next, I would like the readers/public/spectators to know that I will be behind her, beside her, and even in front of her in fulfilling her dreams and aspirations.
“Our relationship is at its strongest point now, more than ever.
“From hereon, we will just direct our attention to more important matters that will make more people happy.
“We will just focus our energies on the projects that she will be blessed with, which will enrich the industry.
“We will continue to treasure and love the family and friends around her who truly matter and who know the truth.
