Bea Binene and Louise delos Reyes have cleared the air about rumors of jealousy towards their former ‘Tween Hearts’ co-stars Alden Richards, Barbie Forteza, and Julie Anne San Jose, who have reached superstar status in the entertainment industry.

During their guest appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,’ both actresses were asked if they felt envious of the success of Alden, Barbie, and Julie Anne, with whom they started in GMA Network’s youth-oriented series ‘Tween Hearts’ back in 2010. While Bea and Louise decided to leave the Kapuso network, Alden, Barbie, and Julie Anne stayed and are now among GMA Network’s top talents.

Bea quickly dismissed the idea of jealousy, expressing pride for her former co-stars. “No ako, Tito Boy, I’m just proud of them lalo na si Barbie kasi we saw each other no’ng birthday ko last year so nag-catch up talaga. Ako, proud lang po talaga, we’re really very proudest. Yun nga lang sinasabi ko, ‘pahinga ka,’ ganyan. ‘Kaya mo ba?’ kasi siyempre she’s very busy but, all in all, I’m just very, very proud of her,” Bea said, adding that she always reminds Barbie to take care of herself despite her busy schedule.

Louise, for her part, echoed similar sentiments. “I don’t feel any jealousy,” she said. Louise added that she believes everyone has their own path in life. She also acknowledged her previous success with Alden when they were paired in hit teleseryes like Magkaibang Mundo in 2016, though their love team dissolved when the AlDub phenomenon took off.

Louise admitted that the bashing from AlDub fans had been challenging, but she has since moved past it. “Ngayon nasa posisyon na, especially, ako na better head space. Dati kasi iniisip mo, ano ba ‘yan, laging dinadawit ako ganyan, parang lahat ng sabihin ko mali. Kasi ngayon, naiintindihan ko na where they (fans) are coming from so mas okay na ‘ko ngayon in terms of handling those kinds of bashing.”

Currently, Bea and Louise are working together on their latest project, the horror film ‘Pasahero,’ produced by Viva Films. The movie is set to premiere on October 30 in SM Cinemas nationwide as part of the ‘Sine Sindak: Ang Ika-5 Yugto’ film festival, running until November 5. The festival offers horror fans an array of films for just P150 per screening, with an all-day pass available for P300 for those who want to experience the full lineup.
