Barbie Forteza and Alden Richards worked together for the first time in this new Kapuso series

Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza shared what she discovered about Asia’s Multimedia Stat Alden Richards.

Barbie and Alden are among the stars of the upcoming Kapuso series Pulang Araw. This is their first time working together on a TV series. However, they have been friends for a long time now.

Barbie Forteza said that she discovered that she and Alden Richards have different processes when it comes to their acting approach.

With this, there are certain adjustments that were made. “Magkaiba kami, ako kasi pagka nasa set na ako, gusto ko niraramdam ‘yung set, gusto kong nakikita ‘yung environment para ‘di ba pag nagawa ko ‘yung eksena, aware ako sa baka may puwede akong i-add sa nuance ko na naroon sa set, ganyan or the feels or ‘yung mga eksena ganyan,” she said.

Barbie said that Alden does the contrary. He does not like this kind of approach. The actress said the actor is very “in the moment”. She also said that Alden has very organic emotions.

However, behind the camera, Alden is very amiable. Barbie said that the actor loves to mingle with his co-stars, even the staff and the crew. Alden would easily transition to his character after hearing the director’s “action!”

The actress also shared that during her and Alden’s first scene together, she did not know what to do. “Nagpe-prepare na ako, niraramdam ko na ‘yung buong eksena ganyan. Siya naman, baligtad, nape-pressure naman siya kapag ganon, so mas gusto niya na kulit-kulit muna para ‘pag action, fresh lahat ng mararamdaman niya,” Barbie Forteza said.

On the other hand, the actress stressed that she had a good time working with Alden. She also said that she learned a different acting process because of the actor. The actress also said that Alden is “mahusay.”
