Anne Curtis teamed up with Dingdong Dantes for Sid & Aya (Not a Love Story), a film about a man (Dingdong) who suffers from insomnia and hires a woman (Anne) to accompany him during sleepless nights.

A far cry from their beginnings as co-stars in the ’90s teen show TGIS, their upcoming film is definitely not youth-oriented and even involves a sex scene between them.
“It was very now, very fresh,” says Anne in an interview where she was asked how this scene was executed. “It was beautifully done.”
Directed by Irene Villamor, Anne says that her take is different from usual dramatic films: “I guess, for me, it’s really how direk Irene chose to attack the love scene. Hindi siya yung typical atake siguro ng dramatic film.”
