Anne Curtis received praise from Regine Velasquez

Kapamilya actress Anne Curtis reacted to Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez’s comment on her singing voice now.

Anne is vocal about her love for singing. Although she is not a recording artist, she has done sold-out concerts. At times, if ever she had a chance, she would flex her love for singing on It’s Showtime.

However, with her singing talent comes humor. She would get laughter from her co-hosts on the Kapamilya noontime show.

In a recent episode of the Kapamilya morning talk show Magandang Buhay, Regine Velasquez mentioned Anne Curtis, based on the article in Balita. The Asia’s Songbird highlighted the improvement in Anne’s voice.

“Tingnan mo si Anne, ‘di ba dati si Anne ‘yong tawang-tawa lang tayo. Bakit tayo natatawa sa kaniya? Kasi wala siya sa tono, e. Pero actually ngayon, nasa tono na siya, e. Actually, gumaling na nga siya, e. Kasi pinagpursigihan niya. And she actually loves it, she likes it,” the singer said.

Regine also pointed out that just like international singer Mariah Carey, she also did not come to where she is now without hard work. The Asia’s Songbird added that she practiced also almost everyday.

Some of Anne’s fans shared video clips of her singing stints while some agreed with Regine’s comment that her voice improved. “Coming from THE Regine Velasquez na yan Anita ha! Grabe ka! Regine at Lea na pumupuri sayo,” a fan commented.

Last holiday season, Anne Curtis had the chance to share the stage with Regine Velasquez. It was an event for an online shopping company. Anne said that she was prepared for that showdown.
