Following AiAi delas Alas and Gerald Sibayan’s Separation, Amy Perez Reaches Out To Comedienne

AMY PEREZ – The TV host reached out to AiAi delas Alas amid her separation with Gerald Sibayan after 10 years of relationship.

Countless people were left puzzled when AiAi delas Alas never made mention of her husband, Gerald Sibayan, during her guest appearance on My Mother, My Story, a show hosted by her fellow celebrity friend, Boy Abunda. Many people also saw sadness in the eyes of the comedienne.

Amid the speculations, Boy vowed to the viewers of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda that he will ask AiAi on the status of her relationship with Gerald as she was set to appear in his show on her 60th birthday. The day came and countless people were left shocked by the revelations of the comedienne — she confirmed that they have separated.

AiAi delas Alas claimed that Gerald Sibayan already cheated on her in 2019. According to the actress, even if she has no tangible proof, she has the gut feeling that someone is involved in her separation with her husband.

In 2013, AiAi and Gerald met and developed a romantic relationship. It was in 2017 when they officially tied the knot in a star-studded wedding ceremony. In 2022, they renewed their vows as husband and wife in Las Vegas.

AiAi delas Alas said she did not anymore try to fight for their marriage as Gerald Sibayan is already firm on his decision. On the rumors that she will allegedly have his green card revoked, the comedienne said that she will not do it and it is a form of help for her ex-husband to have a legal residency in the United States.

In an interview with Pep, Amy Perez had nothing but positive words for AiAi delas Alas. She also expressed her hope that the comedienne will find “the one” for her.

“Si Ai-Ai naman kasi napakabait na tao. Napakabuti na tao. Napakaganda ng puso. So, I pray that one day ay mahanap pa rin niya ang kanyang partner, na the one talaga,” Tiyang Amy said.

Amy Perez stressed that no one can say what may happen next thus, there is a possibility that AiAi delas Alas and Gerald Sibayan will be able to fix their marriage. Just like AiAi and Gerald who have a huge age gap, Tiyang Amy and her husband, Carlo Castillo, also have a big age gap.
