Alden Richards will be in a Kapamilya show

Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards has an It’s Showtime guesting on December 4 and this received reactions from netizens.

Alden has been under the Kapuso network since he started his career in the entertainment industry. One of his biggest breaks in showbiz was when he became one of the hosts of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga, led by the iconic trio Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon.

Although Alden has long been prioritizing his acting career over his hosting stints, he was still part of the Dabarkads.

When the Kapuso noontime show’s producer TAPE Inc. had a conflict with TVJ, Alden Richards expressed his support for the trio and the Dabarkads.

This is probably the reason why negative reactions were expressed when It’s Showtime announced that the Pambansang Bae will be on the Kapamilya show this Monday.

During the height of the issues in noontime shows, Alden expressed in an interview that he received offers to appear on Eat Bulaga, as well as on It’s Showtime, which is also airing on GMA’s GTV.

In the comment section of this post, some netizens expressed excitement while some criticized Alden. A netizen commented that he had a guesting on It’s Showtime even before he guested on EAT, the Kapatid noontime show of TVJ and the Dabarkads.

Fans of the Kapuso actor shared a video clip of his interview stating his piece when it comes to guesting on other noontime shows. Alden Richards said that it is fine with him if ever he had to promote a project on Eat Bulaga but he would not accept if the offer is co-hosting.
