Joross Gamboa said something about Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo

Kapamilya actor Joross Gamboa reacted to being tagged as the third wheel to Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo.

Joross had the first chance to work with Kathryn and Alden in the 2019 film  Hello, Love, Goodbye. Then, it was followed with the sequel Hello, Love, Again this year. Both films did well at the box office.

For his second movie with the KathDen tandem, Joross received applause from moviegoers. His name became a trending topic on social media as many people lauded his performance.

Joross Gamboa was praised for his punchlines in the movie, as well as, in other movies he did before under the direction of Direk Cathy Garcia-Sampana.

The actor shared in an interview with PUSH that he is among Direk Cathy’s constants in her movies. Joross has already done a lot of movies under the award-winning director. He also shared that Direk Cathy already feels comfortable with him and he already knows what the director wants.

With this, Direk Cathy’s concern will be more focused on younger stars or the newbies. Then, Joross was asked if his punchlines were from the script or if he adlibbed them.

“Si Direk Cathy nung part 1 napansin niya, mahirit ako. Pinag-bibigyan niya ako. Nung part 2 ng John Lloyd sarah, sige hanggang sa doon sa mga ‘My amnesia girl’, ‘Starting Over Again’. Hinahayaan na ako nung mga direktor kasi napapansin nila nagwowork yung pag-a-adlib,” the actor shared.

Aside from being called the comic relief in the movies, Joross Gamboa is also tagged as the third wheel to Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo when they were shooting the second part in Canada.

“Lahat naman kami naka-wheels noon, so parang third wheel pero ang plano ko nga kasi doon ilibot sila sa Banff, kaya lang alam mo naman sina Kath at Alden, alaga sa katawan nila, ang ending nag-gym na lang kami,” Joross shared.

Meanwhile, the Kapamilya actor has been sharing behind-the-scenes videos and photos of their shoot in Canada on his Instagram page. One of the videos he shared showed the behind-the-scenes video of the phone conversation scene of Alden and Kathryn but it was Direk Cathy who took the place of the actress.
