Sa kanyang Instagram Story kahapon, June 17, 2024, ni-repost ni Xian ang isang quote mula sa Hollywood star na si Keanu Reeves tungkol sa kasalukuyang disposiyon nito sa buhay.
Nakasaad dito: “I’M AT THAT STAGE IN LIFE WHERE I STAY OUT OF DISCUSSIONS. EVEN IF YOU SAY 1+1=5, YOU’RE RIGHT…HAVE FUN”
XIAN LIM SAYS KIM CHIU INITIATED THEIR BREAKUP
Walang binanggit na anumang paliwanag si Xian kaugnay ng kanyang post.
Pero nitong mga nakalipas na araw ay inuulan ng batikos ang actor-director dahil sa akusasyong wala raw siyang tigil sa pagpapa-interview matapos ang hiwalayan nila ng ex-girlfriend na si Kim Chiu.
Sa panayam sa kanya ni Boy Abunda sa Fast Talk with Boy Abunda noong Hunyo 12, 2024, sinabi ni Xian na si Kim ang nag-initiate ng hiwalayan nila.
Saad niya, “Ang dami kasing kuwento. Yun nga yung mahirap sa isang public relationship.
“They’ve been there since day one nung panliligaw pa lang, all the way to more than a decade…
“People come up with all these made up lies kung anuman but we released our statement na we both decided to part ways.
“To be completely honest, I wasn’t the one who engaged in the separation.
“Yun lang po siya. It’s that simple.
“I wasn’t the one who initiated the breakup.”
“I DON’T WANT TO DWELL SA PAST.”
Bago ito, tila napuno na rin ang It’s Showtime co-host na si Kim sa pagsasalita ni Xian tungkol sa kanilang natapos na relasyon.
Sa eksklusibong panayam ni Kim kay MJ Felipe ng ABS-CBN News na lumabas noong June 7, 2024, sinabi nitong ayaw na niyang balikan ang nakaraan.
Sabi ni Kim, “Entering 2024, sabi ko talaga, I just want a fresh start, new beginning, and I don’t want to dwell sa past.”
Halos anim na buwang hindi nagsalita si Kim tungkol sa hiwalayan nila ni Xian. Ngunit binasag niya ang kanyang pananahimik sa panayam ni MJ.
Sabi ni Kim, “Parang yung post ko nung December, sabi ko, this will be the last time na pag-uusapan ko ito.
“Pero parang ang dami pa rin. Parang hindi naman siya mapag-uusapan kung no one’s lighting the fire.”
Noong panahong iyon, umaasa si Kim na tigilan na ni Xian ang pagbibigay ng anumang pahayag ukol sa kanilang breakup.
Aniya, “It ended, the journey was beautiful. Ayaw ko nang maging masama yung loob ko.”
Sa huli, tila naiiyak na sabi ni Kim, “Kasi paulit-ulit na lang. Let’s give it a rest and let’s leave respect to each other.”
May bago nang girlfriend si Xian sa katauhan ng movie producer na si Iris Lee.
