MANILA — Actress Kim Chiu honored her sister Lakam who has turned a year older.
On Instagram, Chiu uploaded a video showing highlights of Lakam’s birthday party, which was attended by their family and friends.
“A night full of love and laughter deserving for the birthday celebrant, the very loving, very cutesy and very demure Thailander sissy kami! @kamchiu Happy birthday, dearest sissy!!! May this new year of you bring goodness, peace, and love to your heart. Thank you for everything that you do for me, sissy!” Chiu captioned her post.
In the video, Chiu can alsobe seen giving her sweet message to her sister.
“Thank you so much for being my confidant. Kung hihingan man ako ng bagong sister in the next life, gusto ko ikaw pa rin ang ate ko. Lahat inalay niya talaga sa amin, lalo na sa akin. … I love you sis so much. Always here for you,” Chiu said.
Lakam also shared her short but meaningful message to Chiu and to all those who were present to celebrate her special day.
“I love you everybody and of course my queen (Kim) thank you for loving me unconditionally. Thank you for coming and thank you for spending your time with me. Thank you and I love you,” Lakam said.

Chiu has a very close relationship with her siblings, especially Lakam. In the past, she dubbed her eldest sister as her “number one critic, her number one fan, and superwoman.”
