Kim Chiu documented her recent trip to Taiwan where she attended the ContentAsia Awards 2024 in her latest YouTube vlog.
“Samahan niyo ako with my team Chinita sa isa na namang #KimAdventure and yes we are going to Taiwan para sa ContentAsia Awards 2024 bilang first time tayong manominate sa ganitong klaseng Asian Awards,” she said in the introduction of her vlog.
One day prior to the awards ceremony, Kim and her team explored different spots in Taiwan. “Before we go to the awards night, let’s first explore and experience what Taiwan has to offer,” she said.
Among the spots they visited were Shifen Old Street where they set off sky lanterns. They also checked out the shopping district Ximending.
They also went on a food trip and tried spicy hotpot. “Hindi siyempre mawawala ang food trip sa pagiging #Chiurista. Sa dami ng ginawa namin today, naku, deserve talaga namin kumain. And known ang Taiwan sa hotpot.”
The Kapamilya star remarked that she had a great time exploring Taipei with her team, saying: “Napakaraming memories, ang saya saya maka-bonding ng Team Chinita, and siyempre, ang saya rin talaga mag-explore dito sa Taipei.”
Kim attended the ContentAsia Awards held on September 5.
“This is it! Today is the day. It’s time for ContentAsia Awards 2024. Grabe, I am so grateful to be here. Grabe, iba talaga ‘yung experience na mapalibutan ka ng iba’t ibang klaseng artista, producers, and mga bosses ng mga iba’t ibang bansa,” she relayed.
Kim was nominated for Best Female Lead in a TV Program/Series at the ContentAsia Awards for her portrayal of Juliana in the Kapamilya hit series Linlang.
After the event, Kim took to social media to express her gratitude to ContentAsia for the recognition.
“Representing the Philippines is something I never imagined would happen in this lifetime. Thank you, #ContentAsiaAwards2024, for the nomination. ☺️,” she wrote.
Kim also thanked the Kapamilya network and her glam team, sharing, “This is my first time being recognized as an Asian actress. Thank you, ABS-CBN Family, and to my team for helping me look my best.”
She went on to thank the Linlang team, saying, “Thank you, Dreamscape family and Linlang fam. 🖤 It was great to be seated with another Lualhati @kailaestrada ❤️✨.”
“This experience is unforgettable! Hopefully, it’s just the beginning of many more to come! 🤩🥳😍✨❤️🙏🏻🤞🏼,” she added.
