In a recent vlog, actress Heart Evangelista offered a refreshingly candid take on the issue of spam accounts following her on social media.

“Sure, there are a lot of spam accounts,” she acknowledged. But ever the optimist, Heart found a silver lining: “At least they’re following! It’s better than people commenting without following.”

Heart isn’t naive – she’s aware of the manipulation behind the scenes. “I’ve been in this game for a while, you think I miss that?” she said, referencing the potential shadowbanning caused by inauthentic activity. “I know what’s happening.”

However, Heart refuses to let negativity win. “Dwelling on the bad stuff will just stifle my creativity,” she emphasized. “I can’t let it get me down or I won’t be able to create.”

Heart also addressed rumors of buying followers, revealing that Meta (formerly Facebook) confirmed someone else is purchasing followers for her account, possibly to sabotage her engagement rates.
