Diretsahang inamin ng singer-actror na si James Reid na hindi na siya tatanggap ng proyekto kasama ang ex-girlfriend at dating ka-loveteam na si Nadine Lustre.
Ito’y bilang respeto na rin daw sa kasalukuyan niyang girlfriend na si Issa Pressman.
Sa panayam ni James sa vlog sa YouTube ni Ogie Diaz noong Martes, September 17, 2024, natanong siya tungkol sa plano niyang pagbabalik sa pag-arte makaraan niyang pagtuunan ng pansin ang kanyang singing career.
Pagbabahagi ni James, nasa plano na niya noon pa mang bumalik sa paggawa ng pelikula at teleserye.
Mas inuna lang daw niya talaga ang hilig sa music kaya ilang taon siyang namahinga sa paggawa ng acting projects.
Aniya, “It was always my plan to go back to acting. I just wanted to do music first.
“At the time, I felt, like, being in a loveteam, I felt like I was losing my identity.
“I think it’s something that everyone goes through at some point in their lives.
“You need a drastic change in your life and I feel ike switching from acting into music was the kind of change I needed.”
“But out of respect for my girlfriend, Issa, I don’t think I’ll ever do another loveteam.
“I think a lot of audiences can tell reality from showbiz when it comes to loveteam. So, you know, respect for her [Issa].
“I don’t think I’d ever do that again. But acting, definitely.”
JADINE COMEBACK?
Kaakibat ng kanyang pagbabalik sa pag-arte ay ang kaliwa’t kanang tanong kung may tsansa ring magbalik ang tambalan nila ng dating nobya na si Nadine, ang JaDine.
Ayon kay James, hanggang ngayon ay ramdam na ramdam niya ang suporta at pagmamahal ng fans nila ni Nadine.
Ngunit sa kasalukuyan niyang estado ay hindi na raw niya nakikita ang pagkakaroon nila ng reunion project ng dating kasintahan.
Maging ang pagkakaroon niya ng loveteam ay hindi na rin daw interesado si James.
