At the media launch of RLC’s newest property Mantawi Residences, held in Mott 32 in Cebu, Robinsons Land Corp. ambassador Heart Evangelista made a strong pitch for properties as the best investment, mentioning that her rental business is what sustains her lifestyle when she encounters a drought in showbiz projects.
“For me, jewelry is not really an investment. I [am] not just saying that to justify [my endorsement] but it’s not,” Heart said. She suggested that it is easy to sell jewelry without considering how much more it can appreciate over time.
Jewelry may be a valid store of value for many people, but Heart says it is best to make money from real estate, which she started investing in at age 17.
What Heart looks for
“The primary consideration is the location and definitely the company (developer) you can trust. They have to be trustworthy and the reputation is good,” Heart said.
Investors need to research first on the property developer’s track record before deciding to put their money in land, condominium unit or apartment being sold.
“Research what they’ve done, their projects, and how consistent they are when it comes to branding and marketing because if they rise, your rise. If they get successful, kasama ka doon,” she averred.
“I want something fresh”
Media members at the launch were also impressed with Heart’s “summer-inspired haircut”
“I wanted something fresh,” she simply put it out there.
Heart said she decided to cut her hair short because of the summer heat in the Philippines.
“Honestly kasi nawawalan na ako ng time, [so] I just wanted something fresh. Mainit na eh,” said the Kapuso Queen of Creative Collaborations.
According to Heart, aside from wanting a refreshed look, her new haircut also allows her to show off her new ear piercings.
“I just got my ears pierced, so I needed to show it off, so ni-cut ko na hair ko,” Heart said, ending her statement with a playful “charot.”
RLC is in her heart
Heart is a long-time ambassador of RLC Residences. Previously, her collaboration project with RLC, dubbed “Love Marie Designs,” let her design her own condo unit at The Sapphire Bloc.
Heart also released a line of aromatherapy candles, exclusively dedicated to welcoming new RLC Residences homeowners.
Heart has been juggling her life between Manila and Paris every now and then.
