Nadine Lustre’s boyfriend has high expectations for ‘Uninvited’
The boyfriend of actress Nadine Lustre is among those who can’t wait to see her performance in the highly-anticipated thriller “Uninvited.”
During a pop-up event of their plant-based coconut milk product on Saturday, Christophe Bariou revealed that he was present during the shooting of “Uninvited,” even getting the chance to watch some of Lustre’s kissing scenes.
“I was there on the shooting. Interesting. I was also in the premiere of ‘Deleter’ last year, but I feel like ‘Uninvited’ is going to be bigger,” said Bariou, referring to the 2022 horror film for which Lustre won Best Actress honors at the Metro Manila Film Festival.
The trailer of “Uninvited” showed Lustre in some steamy scenes, which Bariou said were “cool.”

“For me, it’s very interesting to be behind the scenes,” he said. “I’ve seen her kissing [scenes]. For me, it’s almost funny.”
According to Lustre, her Filipino-French beau was already aware of those scenes even before they started shooting the film.
“When I read the script the first time, I told him about it. I told him, ‘I don’t know if I can do it’. He knows all the scenes. He knows my character,” she said.
“I think it was one take, and everyone said it was okay,” Bariou added.
The film is just one aspect of her life that Lustre is juggling, as she and Bariou also launched “Dehusk,” their plant-based milk. They took over the “dot” coffee shop in Taguig City on Saturday in an event that was graced by influencers and celebrities including Kylie Verzosa and Angie Mead King.
“She’s probably, by far, the most hardworking person I’ve ever met,” Bariou said of Lustre. “I cook a lot for her, I help her also. We try to make the decisions together.”
Aside from Lustre, “Uninvited” also stars Vilma Santos-Recto and Aga Muhlach.
Also part of the star-studded roster are Tirso Cruz III, Mylene Dizon, Gabby Padilla, Elijah Canlas, RK Bagatsing, Lotlot de Leon, Ketchup Eusebio, Cholo Barretto, Gio Alvarez and Ron Angeles.
