Sam Pinto and Anthony Semerad held a ground-breaking ceremony to mark the beginning of the construction of their new resort in Calaca, Batangas.

The actress gave a glimpse of the small event where their daughter Mia Aya was also present, as seen on Pinto’s Instagram page on Thursday, Jan. 9.

In the photos, the family of three held golden shovels while joined by a few other companions. A tarpaulin that states “a proposed resort” as well as the location of the construction can also be seen in the snaps.

“Building something magical,” she said in the caption.

“Can’t wait, baby!” Semerad replied to Pinto via the comments section.

Aside from their upcoming resort, the couple also owns two more resorts, one also in Batangas and another one in Aurora.

Pinto and Semerad tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in March 2021, after two years of being in a relationship. They welcomed Mia in September of the same year.

Meanwhile, Pinto made her showbiz comeback in 2023 after a six-year hiatus.

“Honestly, I think I was tired and parang burnt-out na,” she spoke of why she took a break from show business. “So parang, I needed a break.”

“I think I enjoyed the break too much kasi I was just chilling. I had all the time that I needed. I can do anything, I can go anywhere, parang it is freedom, basically,” she said.
