‘Consent’-idor! Robin Padilla says he’s still ‘in heat’ as Mariel Rodriguez shares PDA photo

Senator Robin Padilla and his wife, television host Mariel Rodriguez, are unbothered by the flak received by the lawmaker for asking in a public hearing what horny husbands should do if their wives aren’t in the mood for sex.

Rodriguez posted on Facebook Friday (August 16) a photo of her and Padilla kissing, The caption read, “Oh may consent yan ah [kissing smiley face emoji].”

In the comments section of the post, Padilla said: “Hello babe I’m in heat [fire emoji.],” to which Rodriguez replied, “its a tie… i’m feeling hot hot hot [dancing girl emoji].”

At the hearing of the Senate committee on public information and mass media’s hearing on Thursday (August 15) about the policies of television networks on complaints of sexual harassment, Padilla asked veteran abogado Lorna Kapunan if a husband has any legal recourse if he wanted to have sex but his wife wasn’t in the mood.

Kapunan said a couple with problems with their sex life could seek counseling, to which a bewildered Padilla replied that sometimes, a man’s sexual urges— when he’s “in heat”— lasts for 30 minutes or less.

The abogado said Padilla could manage his sexual urges by watching videos on Netflix.
