Our firsts will forever be imprinted in our memories, and they’re always great to share with new friends or even old ones. For the maiden episode of her vlog channel, He’s Into Her star Belle Mariano shares the bravest and most random firsts in her showbiz journey and personal life.

Let’s begin with her first audition. While she debuted via Kapamilya kiddie gag show Goin’ Bulilit, Belle didn’t really audition for it. She just tagged along with a friend to the ABS-CBN studios where the show was being taped. Then, she was spotted by director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, who asked her to appear in one skit, “Ako, game! ’Cause I really want to.” Then, she was asked to come back for the next taping days until she became a regular.

“It wasn’t really an audition for me. Parang na-invite lang ako doon and I enjoyed it because ever since, I wanted to be in those types of shows. Growing up nanood ako ng Barney [and Friends],” she recalled.

Her first overseas travel was to Malaysia with her Goin’ Bulilit co-stars to shoot for several episodes.

She first appeared in a magazine via Star Magic Catalogue.

She landed her first teleserye at 9 years old via “Lorenzo’s Time” with Zaijian Jaranilla, so that makes him her first leading man.

Belle couldn’t recall the first movie she did but her first major one was “Four Sisters Before the Wedding” with Alexa Ilacad, Charlie Dizon, and Gillian Vicencio.

The Gen Z star most likely used her first salary to buy a new gadget.

When she launched her Twitter account, Belle realized for the first time that she has fans, “When they were commenting, giving feedback about my acting and posts.

At the age of 8, she got her first injury which led to stitches and a scar on the forehead.

She also shared the first stop in her morning routine, which is to make coffee. If you’re an avid fan of Belle, you know she can’t function without getting her coffee fix. The first person she talks to in the morning is her mom, “Because when I wake up, I invite her to eat breakfast with me or drink coffee with me since mom is also a fan of coffee.”

The first thing she does during her day off is catch up on sleep and recharge by reading a book and drinking coffee in the morning or catching up with friends.

Belle, the other half of the popular DonBelle love team, wants to tell her younger self: “You’re doing great. Keep up the good work. You’ll be proud of yourself one day.”
