Nora Aunor Speaks on Business Conflict w/ Matet de Leon

NORA AUNOR – The veteran actress broke her silence on her past rift with her adoptive daughter, Matet de Leon, over their businesses.

Last December, actress Matet de Leon aired her hurt and disappointment over business issues with the Philippines’ Superstar. The actress has a gourmet and tuyo business and she revealed that her adoptive mother has become her competitor in the said business.

Matet is one of the adoptive children of Nora with ex-husband Christopher de Leon. Living celebrity lives, many of their family issues were not able to skip the eyes of the public. Almost all of them in the family are in the showbiz field although some of the De Leon siblings are more popular than the others.

Then, Matet de Leon expressed that she will never talk to Nora Aunor anymore. She claimed that she was badly hurt when she woke up one afternoon to a message from her mother about her business which is the same as hers.

The following month, Matet expressed that she and Nora have already talked and they have fixed the issue. She admitted that she spoke “too soon” when she expressed that she won’t talk to her mother anymore and it was due to her anger then.

Recently, in her guest appearance in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Nora Aunor broke her silence on the business rift between her and Matet de Leon two (2) months ago. According to the veteran actress, her daughter was going through something then and she did not know about it.

“Ang sa akin, nagkaroon ako ng ano na, ‘Halika, maggawa tayo ng tuyo,’ na hindi ko alam na ikakasama ng loob niya,” Nora said.

Meanwhile, Nora Aunor clarified that she and Matet de Leon are okay now. She stressed that her children are visiting her from time to time. Here’s the interview posted on YouTube:
