TWBA Throwback: Tito Boy asks Rhys about his feelings for Kaori

We can always rely on the instinct and taste of Pinoy Big Brother viewers about housemates who could be potential love teams – because they rarely get wrong. Take, for instance, Kaori Oinuma and Rhys Eugenio who already had legions of shippers even before they went back to the outside world.

As soon as he exited the PBB house, Rhys guested on Tonight with Boy Abunda to talk about his journey and his blossoming friendship with Kaori.

TWBA host Boy Abunda then asked him his true feelings for Kaori. Rhys clarified that he hasn’t yet fallen in love with Kaori but he wishes to know her better and take things slow.

He further admitted having a girlfriend in sixth grade and it turned into a major heartbreak. Rhys also revealed that he liked a girl before becoming a PBB housemate. But the budding romance was cut short. “Bigla akong pumasok sa bahay ni Kuya, so I never got to say anything to her. Pagbalik ko dito sa labas, we haven’t gotten in touched,” he explained.

When asked who he likes to pursue now, Rhys said he isn’t sure yet but he clearly wants to get to know Kaori better.

Kaori and Rhys, shipped by fans as KaoRhys, topbilled the digital series “The Four Bad Boys and Me” in 2020. They are currently part of He’s Into Her headlined by Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano aka DonBelle, and is shown every Sunday at 8:45 pm on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, and A2Z.
