Ashley Ortega, Asked If Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi Talked
In an episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” host Boy Abunda directly asked Kapuso actress Ashley Ortega if she and Kyline Alcantara had a conversation about Mavy Legaspi, a controversial name between the two actresses.

When Ashley was a guest on the program recently, she admitted that she and Mavy, who is considered Kyline’s ex-boyfriend, are currently in a relationship, and some also think that Mavy had a special relationship with Kobe Paras.

“What, we just met yesterday because we did All-Out Sundays, then it was okay, we just said hi, hello, that’s it,” Ashley replied, showing their good relationship as co-workers at the same network.

Due to issues related to their personal lives, Boy asked if she and Kyline had discussed anything, but Ashley replied, “No,” and quickly clarified that they had not discussed anything related to the controversies.

As expected, Ashley also said that there was no need to discuss Mavy and Kyline anymore, and she agreed with Boy’s statement that it was not necessary to discuss it. “We’re good naman,” added the actress, who said that there was no tension between the two and that their relationship as a network was good.

Such issues often show the generosity and maturity of artists, who prefer to be polite and not give in to negative issues that could cause misunderstandings.

No beef between Ashley Ortega, Kyline Alcantara over Mavy Legaspi
Ashley Ortega clarified that there is no bad blood between her and Mavy Legaspi’s rumored ex-girlfriend Kyline Alcantara, amid Ortega’s romantic involvement with Legaspi.

Ortega, who confirmed her relationship with Legaspi on the February 11 episode of “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda,” was asked if she had the chance to speak with Alcantara.

“Have you ever spoken to (Have you ever spoken to) Kyline Alcantara? Are you friends?” Abunda asked Ortega.

The “Pulang Araw” star shared that she interacted with Alcantara during a taping for the Sunday noontime show “All-Out Sundays,”

“Actually, yesterday, I was with her because we did ‘All Out Sundays’. We’re okay. We said hello,” Ortega said. She was then asked if they talked about a certain topic, alluding to her romantic involvement with Legaspi, to which she said they didn’t. She also agreed when Abunda told her there was “no need” to talk about it.

“We’re good. No beef. We’re all happy,” Ortega further explained.

While there was no direct confirmation from either Alcantara or Legaspi, the ex-onscreen tandem was reportedly in a relationship in 2021 and parted ways two years later. The actress also spoke about their alleged split in August 2024, saying that she wants to “move on.”

The “Shining Inheritance” star is currently in a relationship with Kobe Paras, with the latter confirming that they are dating in November of last year.

Meanwhile, Ortega and Legaspi sparked dating rumors after they were spotted enjoying Sinulog Festival-related festivities in Cebu last January, which was eventually confirmed by the actress a month later.
