In a recent post, Kris Aquino expressed her indignation at the untrue information related to her condition. Some malicious rumors even spread that she had passed away. This caused confusion among fans and greatly affected the spirit of her family

The famous actress and host affirmed that she is still fighting the disease but has not given up like the fake news spread. She emphasized that those who intentionally spread false information will be held responsible before the law. Kris Aquino also called on the public to be careful and not to spread unverified information to avoid causing unnecessary panic

THE Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, has fallen victim to a “death hoax” again.

Based on a circulating Facebook post from the page of the person named “Philippine Scholar 2023”, Kris allegedly passed away on January 3 along with a link to a blog site.

BANDERA can no longer find the said FB page, but based on a report by Rappler, the post has garnered 1,100 reactions, 343 comments and 165 shares, as of January 11.

It can also be seen in the comment section from the media website that Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste reacted.

According to Gov. Mark, the news circulating about Kris is fake news and in fact, she is with him in California now.

“Kris is very much alive – we’re together now in Orange County,” said the politician.

His message continued, “Whoever came up with this fake/false news is foolish, selfish and idiotic!”

Many netizens also seemed very angry with the FB page that was spreading false news and here are some of the comments we read:

“May death come to people who weirdly love spreading fake news about somebody’s death.”

“KRIS AQUINO IS ALIVE!!! [queen, red heart emojis] It’s 2024, but you’re still fake news! [emojis]”

“Praying for Kris better strength! Ignore these nonsense people who created this fake news.”

“Those who spread fake news should be sued.”

If you recall, it was 2022 when Kris seemed to be a victim of a death hoax that the former TV host immediately denied.

Kris is currently battling several autoimmune diseases including chronic spontaneous urticaria, autoimmune thyroiditis, and Churg Strauss or EGPA, a “rare and life-threatening form of vasculitis.”
