Actress Ruffa Gutierrez seems to have an answer to Kris Aquino’s hints last Wednesday at a campaign rally that seemed to refer to senatorial bet Herbert Bautista.

On Thursday, the caption Gutierrez put on her new post became meaningful where she advised the public to be good even to “ex.”

Many netizens quickly copied her caption and it became Aquino’s statement during presidential candidate Leni Robredo’s campaign sortie in Tarlac where she had a rant about one of her ex-boyfriends who is allegedly running for the 2022 elections.

“Good morning beautiful people! Be kind to everyone, including your ex,” said Gutierrez.

Aquino’s apparent rant came after a seemingly blunt statement by actress Angel Locsin who was also in Tarlac to support Robredo.

Locsin compared choosing who to vote for in the election to finding a relationship. He said that the choice should be made by those who are there when necessary and not only during elections.

Aquino responded as if the actress was targeting him: “Gel, you must be targeting me there. Ouch. Ouch.”

Aquino also warned those attending the gathering not to vote for the unnamed “ex” who is allegedly a member of the UniTeam of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Although not named, Bautista is one of the host’s ex-boyfriends and is now running for senator under the Marcos party.

In 2014, Aquino admitted that Bautista once proposed to her during their brief relationship.

Meanwhile, last week, Gutierrez called the rumored girlfriend “No. 1 in my heart” in a seemingly confirmation of their relationship.
