Kris Aquino fails to land sexy bartender role in US series
KRIS AQUINO disclosed that she did not pass the auditions when she tried her luck in joining an international series.
Through her Instagram account, Kris revealed that the producers already picked someone for the coveted role.
She wrote: “I got news from @agentchrislee that my ‘shoot for the moon’ audition for the role in a US series went to an Asian American actress.”
The Filipina celebrity candidly admitted that she was not suited for the role of a bartender. “Mahirap talaga pag hindi ‘boto’ ang mga anak ko – especially Bimb… the role was for a sassy, sarcastic, sexy bartender (truth, i know – HINDI BAGAY) but i was ready to take a MIXOLOGY crash course.”
Kris claimed that her medical condition prevents her from taking alcoholic drinks. Her post published on November 14 indicated: “I don’t drink alcohol at all because of my hypertension, anti-anxiety, multivitamin, vitamin D and iron supplement, and most importantly the 4 different antihistamines taken as daily maintenance.”
“It was FUN to try though. GOOD NIGHT to all,” Kris added.
In a previous Instagram post, Kris described the role as a “recurring character who hasn’t been on Philippine TV for more than 2 years & who binge watches US series.”
