It’s been three weeks of hell. I won’t go into the details about what that hell has been, but it has been hell. Because several things that I thought I was going to start were delayed. I cried myself to sleep until Friday night,” said Kris Aquino who admitted to being humbled by a professional crisis that she recently went through

Kris Aquino admitted that she was “humbled” by a professional crisis that she went through these past three weeks.

She said, “I’ll be honest, ha? It’s been three weeks of hell.

“I won’t go into the details about what that hell has been, but it has been hell.

“Because several things that I thought I was going to start were delayed.

“I cried myself to sleep until Friday night.”

Kris further said that she only felt better after her sister Pinky accompanied her to hear mass at Our Lady of Manaoag in Pangasinan last Friday.

“Lo and behold! Pagdating namin, it was the last mass.

“Parang pinaparamdam sa akin na, ‘Uy, kung may setback man ngayon, God just wants to see how you’ll behave while you’re waiting.’

“It was after that, finally, parang I got home and I was no longer crying because of what I was hoping to happen that did not happen.

“I started crying out of gratitude.

“[I felt na] oo nga naman, you’re showing me na meron pa akong puwedeng gawin.

“Huwag na ako matakot, and meron ako parating masasandalan.”

The Queen of All Media made this revelation in front of selected entertainment reporters and about a hundred participants who attended Ariel detergent’s ad campaign launch, held at Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City, this Tuesday, October 11.

Kris later confirmed to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other reporters that the “setback” she was referring to was the TV show that she was supposed to start taping last September 22.

But Kris remained non-committal about whether the said show would still push through or not.

“Alam niyo kasi if pag-usapan ko ‘yan, mas lalong hindi maaayos.

“And sobrang taas ng respeto ko sa nakausap ko na pareho kaming naging collateral damage lang.

“Na ibalato niyo sa akin siya, kasi feeling ko, gusto niyo rin siya as a person na huwag na nating pag-usapan pa.”

Last September 11, it would be recalled that Kris officially bade farewell to ABS-CBN after 20 years of being an exclusive Kapamilya artist.

The Queen of All Media also announced that same night that she signed up for a TV show with APT Entertainment, a production house owned by Tony Tuviera

Kris is currently under the talent management of Triple A, which is also owned by Tuviera.

NO TV NETWORK CONTRACT YET. As for her much-speculated network transfer, Kris said that she’s still open to doing a TV show with either ABS-CBN, GMA-7, or other TV networks for that matter.

An entertainment reporter asked: Is it possible for her to return to her former home network?

Kris replied, “Yes. Alam niyo, hindi naman ito Billy Bush situation in America…
