The passing of former President Noynoy Aquino has left many questions not only about his political legacy but also about his assets and family matters. Recently, a sensational news broke out when a source said that everything after Noynoy’s death was passed on to Joshua Aquino, Kris Aquino’s eldest son. This has sparked many speculations about the inheritance and relationships within this prestigious family.
Joshua Aquino, Kris Aquino’s eldest son, has long been known as an important part of the media queen’s life. Although not active in politics or entertainment, Joshua has always been protected by his mother and given the best. However, the fact that the boy is related to the legacy of former President Noynoy Aquino has surprised many people.
According to some sources, Joshua has a very special relationship with the former President. Since he was a child, he has always received special attention and affection from Noynoy. Many in the Aquino family also realized that Noynoy always considered Joshua as a beloved nephew and could be the one to receive his legacy.

Kris’ post on Facebook, “June 4, 1995, i was so NOT READY to be a mama… in many ways kuya josh helped me grow up.
“He was just 3 years old when it became just the 2 of us… because I never hid from you that he is a special child, that he’s in the autism spectrum, oftentimes he is a bully especially when politics is involved, BUT it is no small matter that many people defended and felt the purity of his heart and his genuine generosity and that he is not selective in his friendship and will give respect – for kuya, if you are kind and show goodness, the tenderness and love he will give in return is greater.
“I have often said life isn’t perfect BUT it does have many wonderful moments. It would not be possible for Kuya Josh, Bimb, and me to share our blessings had you not given me the trust and support you have.
“I went back to work, and I’d like to consider that my true career started because you accepted me with all my flaws & strengths 4 months after I gave birth to my eldest.
“Everything we have as a mother, comes from my work that I supported. As long as we can, we will continue to give back to you the blessings that you gave the 3 Aquinos.
“Happy birthday, Kuya Josh, we love you…”
Kris thanked those who helped Josh distribute blessings on his birthday, including “Gov Susan Yap and the Tarlaqueños who Kuya Josh loves so much, yes, as he said he’s living there forever.”

KRIS ON BEING A SINGLE PARENT
On June 21, Monday, Kris posted a post related to Father’s Day celebration the day before.
Kris said, “My sons both had the sweetest messages greeting me Happy Father’s Day. Honestly, it used to be a source of pride that I managed to do it on my own…
“but now that I’m older, I realize how much they’ve missed out on- they say it takes 2 to tango… yes I have been the nurturer & provider and let’s be REAL, dads really don’t make an effort.
“But it’s lately that I’ve gotten a clearer male perspective from a new friend who has a very strong Christian faith- it’s hard to balance what I provide for the 2, and sometimes just to avoid embarrassment, just stay away… I never saw it that way before. And my brother & bimb are really used to our situation.
“That’s the price of living your life publicly… there’s been a lot of talk on both sides (this is about bimb’s dad) that he has seen (because there’s YouTube) and as he said he’s not looking for it anymore.”
KRIS’S UPDATE ABOUT HER LOVE LIFE
Kris also updated about her health, and about someone who had a birthday in May.
Kris said, “like roses that take time to bloom, my health also needs TIME… I don’t want to embarrass you… there were too many stops & starts; maybe God was really preparing me for this… so until September we’ll just do weekly updates.
“my family (meaning my siblings) and i know now how to love & support each other in the way that each one needs… our mom would remark how could she have given birth to 5 kids w/ such different personalities?
“it was this year that we realized ‘he is really him’ and that part of loving each other is respecting individual choices yet being there when you’re needed & wanted but knowing our boundaries.
“I want to tell you about the end of a long part of my life, but people are changing… that’s our story, not mine alone. so the parts I can share come from only what I personally said & did.
“I chased to arrive before midnight 1 night in May.
“EFFORT because it took 4 hours each way to just see him for a total of 15 minutes (they locked in for work but I did PCR to be sure)… we only met at the entrance, not inside. “i simply wanted to personally greet him happy birthday, give my gift and my letter. I just reciprocated because he also made an effort on my birthday to personally give his gift that was meaningful.
“But when May, that was our THE END. Maybe the safest thing I can quote from my birthday letter was I said: I wish him REAL happiness because ‘we both deserve our versions of ME AFTER YOU’…
“after 7 years, we did become the best of friends & I know even that part is now over.
“I spoke because I still have 4 years, for bimb to experience ‘normal’… all he’s seen & known are dysfunctional relationships & i don’t want him to become an adult without me trying to move forward and God willing, giving my sons a chance to have the stepfather they deserve. Because i know, i’m not enough.
“He doesn’t have to be rich or famous, it’s better if he’s not a public figure… as long as he has the right values, is pious, has integrity, is intelligent, and is hardworking, he’s an answered prayer. i’ve achieved all my dreams, it’s now my turn to focus on what really matters- trying for my sons get the father figure they never had. #mytruth”
Of course, Kris is referring to former Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista who celebrated his 53rd birthday on May 12.
Kris continued to indulge in the KrisTek romance.
DEATH OF FORMER PRESIDENT NOYNOY
On June 24, Thursday, Kris’ older brother PNoy, President Benigno Simeon “Noynoy” Aquino III, passed away.
Noynoy served as a father figure to Kris’ two sons, Joshua and Bimby.
Many who know the Aquino family, especially Kris, know the closeness of former President Noynoy Aquino and Joshua.
I was with Kris when she was pregnant with Joshua, and I knew then that PNoy was very angry with Kris’ sudden pregnancy, especially with her relationship with Phillip Salvador.
But when Kris gave birth to Joshua, former President Cory Aquino and PNoy loved him very much.
It can be seen how close Joshua is to his Uncle Noynoy, as if he had become a father figure to Kris’s eldest child.
They say that PNoy’s influence is so great that Joshua has liked living in Alto, Tarlac since December 2020.
Joshua preferred to be with his Uncle PNoy, so he chose to live in Alto.
So I could feel Joshua’s grief when I saw on TV his arrival at Times Street this morning around nine in the morning.
According to some reporters who were focused on Times Street, Joshua was crying as he got out of the car and entered the gate.

I can’t imagine how Kris will comfort her son in the midst of the entire family’s grief. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Aquino family. If Kris was a father figure for his children, President Noynoy filled that role for their family.
And if PNoy was looking for a love life, he spent a lot of time with Bimby, especially Josh.
PEP and the Troika extend their condolences to the family of the former President, along with gratitude for all the good things he did for our country.
It is reported that his remains will be buried at Heritage, contrary to the previous report that it will be buried at LaSalle Greenhills, like his mother.
We will wait for details of the tribute and how we can express our condolences to our former leader.
