Netizen accused Vico Sotto as COVID-19 inventor

Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto was accused by a netizen as the inventor of COVID-19 and this received a reaction from actor-host Luis Manzano.

Amid the enhanced community quarantine due to the coronavirus pandemic, Mayor Vico is one of the most popular names of politicians on social media because of the things he has been doing for his constituents.

Many people have commended his efforts and some even wished that they also have a Mayor Vico in their cities. However, the young mayor also has a set of bashers who criticize his ways of dealing with the crisis in his city.

On the other hand, there was one odd basher online who accused him as the inventor of the novel coronavirus disease 2019. The female netizen asked, “What if si Vico Sotto pala and nag imbinto ng COVID-19?”

After that question, the netizen showed her evidence that would prove her accusation against the Pasig City Mayor. She spelled the name of Vico backward which became “COVI”, as well as his last name which became “OTTOS” or “utos”, in English “command”.

The netizen also said that the favorite number of the young mayor is 4 and the 4th letter in the alphabet is D which completes the “COVID” term. She also did some computations and the result is “19”.

This post of the said netizen was shared by Luis Manzano in his recent Instagram post. His caption, as usual with a jest stated: “Eto na po!!!! Dahan dahan ng lumalabas ang totoo tungkol sa COVID . Siguro dapag magpaliwanag si Mayor @vicosotto.”
