Nora Aunor supported with oxygen due to breathing problems

Up to this time, no one from the family of Nora Aunor has yet to disclose her current health condition but according to veteran columnist Cristy Fermin, the Superstar was suffering from breathing problems and was confined in a hospital.

Fermin said Nora is being supplied with oxygen due to difficulty of breathing. This is actually the reason why the veteran actress was not permitted by her doctor to go to Malacanang Palace to personally receive her plaque as a National Artist for Film on June 16.

The showbiz columnist is an avid fan of Nora and this did not change even if she was able to personally get to know the actress after becoming a writer and a talk show host.

“Kaya nung nalaman ko na hindi siya nakakahinga nang maayos, lagi siyang naka-oxygen, hanggang sa dalhin na sa ospital at binabantayan na, parang ang lakas-lakas ng suntok sa puso ko talaga,” said Fermin who admittedly shed tears upon knowing the condition of Nora.

Fermin shared that Nora was even excited to receive her plaque but unfortunately she was not able to do so due to her health condition.

“May sakit naman si Nora Aunor. Hindi naman niya kaya. Pinaghandaan niya ito, sabi nga ng mga anak niya nagpagupit pa raw ng buhok. Matagal na niyang pinaghandaan ang pinakamataas na antas ng parangal sa kahit sinong artista.”

“Nagpagawa pa raw ng damit, pero pagdating nung awarding, hindi niya kakayanin. Sabi, ayaw payagan ng mga doktor niya si Nora Aunor na umalis at lumabas ng ospital.”

According to reports, it was her daughter Lotlot de Leon who took care of Nora while she was in the hospital. It can be remembered that Lotlot and her adoptive mother have some personal issues with one another.
