Kat Hermosa Scammed Over ₱1,900, Here’s Her Reaction

KAT HERMOSA – Actress Kat Hermosa opened up about her frustrating experience after falling victim to an online scam involving a trending ‘Thailand sausage.’

Filipina actress Kat Hermosa recently opened up about being scammed while attempting to purchase a trending product online. Kat took to Instagram to share her frustrating experience, revealing that she had paid over ₱1,900 for a popular ‘Thailand sausage’ intended for a mukbang video—but the product never arrived.

In her post, Kat explained that the seller appeared to be legitimate, providing detailed product information and communicating professionally, which initially gave her confidence in the transaction. However, after the item failed to arrive, she realized that she had fallen victim to a scam.

“Its this Thailand sausage trending on TikTok. For a sausage, hindi siya mura ha? Paid 1,900+ for it. Magaling sila and their modus. Complete product details and the attitude when conversing is a legit seller too. I searched now for the name and some concerned friends searched for the seller too and I strongly believe I got scammed,” Kat wrote.

Despite the disappointing situation, Kat took a surprisingly positive and forgiving stance. Instead of lashing out, she expressed hope that the money would at least help feed the scammer’s family. She also prayed that the individual would eventually seek a more honest means of earning a living.

“Solution on my part, I prayed for the scammer. I hope the money fed you and your family. I also prayed that you try to find a dignified job because all the money you guys scammed from are all hard earned money. Ilang live selling din yan, ilang hustle din yan. Ilang items sold din yan for a slim comm. Yet we choose to do what honors God kasi what’s important is where we are going after our lives here on Earth.”
