Gabby Concepcion reacts to Sharon Cuneta wearing a ring from him
Gabby confirms Sharon gifted him with his first pair of color blind eyeglasses.
Gabby Concepcion, 60, was happy to see that his ex-wife Sharon Cuneta, 59, is still using the “friendship ring” that he gave her.
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) reported to Gabby that Sharon was spotted wearing the ring when Sharon attended an endorsement event on January 30, 2025.
“Yeah, I think giving a ring is very powerful. Especially if it’s [smart watch and ring brand] too, you’ll sleep well,” Gabby said with a smile.
Gabby gave Sharon a different brand because she only had one health ring that she brought with her to the U.S.
“At that time, I only had one ring. I went to the mall and gave her a ring.”
Gabby was interviewed by PEP and select entertainment press at a press conference for her endorsement of the mWell smart watch and ring on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
Sharon and Gabby were together on the Dear Heart eight-city concert tour in the U.S. and Canada in October-November 2024.
On November 23, Gabby gave Sharon a friendship ring in the middle of their concert in Hawaii.
Gabby continued, “Okay naman ngayong sa amin.
In fact, the beginning of Dear Heart was a good thing for us because it renewed friendships.
“From that point on until now, I’m happy, sometimes I see in her reels—someone sends me—that she’s always holding the ring.

Gabby also received a gift from Sharon—a pair of color blind glasses, which the actor can be seen wearing in his pictorial for his new endorsement.
“Yes, that’s it,” Gabby confirmed of her glasses on the tarp at the presscon.
“Because I’m color blind. That’s why she made me wear them so I could see her more clearly,” Gabby added with a smile when asked by entertainment editor Jun Lalin. Gabby said she appreciated Sharon’s gift.
“Of course, because I just saw it now, at least from my perspective, the version of green.
“Because my green, I’m the only one who knows that color.
“I’ve tested a few times for color blindness, my [invisible color] is actually green and red.
“So, I usually wear blue or black and white.”
Gabby joked, “That’s good because I’m not racist. I’m color blind.”
Those were her first color blind glasses.
They were the only ones she used because no one else had given her color blind glasses.

When asked when she and Sharon will be together again for a concert tour, Gabby didn’t have a final answer.
“We haven’t talked about it yet so we don’t know if the concerts we were supposed to do abroad will go ahead.
“But hoping it will go ahead…”
Gabby is currently set to do her new teleserye on GMA-7.
“…because our teleserye is about to start. We’ll end in November. So, maybe I won’t have time to show.
“I’m under contract with GMA, maybe I won’t be able to do the [concert] shows.”
